Plague-Thread Spears is a spell found exclusively in Old Ring‘S Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. If you’ve ever been annoyed by those annoying Kindred of Rot enemies that repeatedly fire sticky threads of goo at you, you’ll be glad you got this spell. It lets you do the exact same thing to them (or any other enemy). Now you can be just as annoying as they are.

Pest-Thread Spears stats and features

Pest-Thread Spears takes up 1 memory slot, costs 28 FP to cast, and requires 26 Faith to use.

This Incantation gives you the ability to fire sticky strings to deal damage to enemies. It’s one of the best spells in the game against large enemies, as the strings deal separate damage to each body part they hit, allowing you to take the hurt very quickly.

Pest-Thread Spears Item Description

The item description for Pest-Thread Spears reads:

“Skill of the plagues known as the Kindred of Rot, now used as a spell.

Separate some sticky threads and twist them into two spears that you throw forward.

Charging to increase potency.

The plagues are abandoned servants, and it is for this reason that they found a mother in the Saint of the Bud.”

Where can you find Pest-Thread Spears?

You can find the Pest-Thread Spears Incantation in the Ancient Ruins of Ruah. Start your search at the Church of the Bud, Main Entrance Site of Grace.

From the Site of Grace, turn around and head back to the cave behind you. There will be a giant staircase here that you can take down. Do so, then wrap around the staircase and follow the passage behind it.

In the area behind the stairs is a Kindred of Rot enemy that you want to kill. After that, pick up the item here to get the Pest-Thread Spears Incantation. Make sure to equip it, then go and annoy every enemy you can find.
