Highway 97 closed at Sutton Road, 2.5 miles south of Williams Lake

Highway 97 was closed in both directions Sunday evening due to a car crash.

The closure will take place on Sutton Road, four kilometers south of Williams Lake.

Drive BC reports a detour is available via Quigli Road.

First responders are on scene making their assessments.
