‘Heartstopper’ Season 3 Trailer Shows Jonathan Bailey Cameo

Charlie struggles with a mental health crisis as he and Nick navigate their unlikely best friendship-turned-romance in the official trailer for season three of Netflix’s queer drama Heart Conquerorwhich fell on Tuesday.

“Charlie, I’m really worried about you,” Nick, played by Kit Connor, says at one point as relationship and identity drama abounds in the teaser for the third season of the British coming-of-age series. “I hate feeling this way. I don’t know what to do right now,” Charlie (played by Joe Locke) responds in another scene, as his mental health struggles, first hinted at in the second season, become a major theme for the new season.

Their friends Tara (Corinna Brown), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) also reveal their own anxieties about growing up, as childhood sweethearts, sex and college ambitions play a role in their lives.

The third season trailer also introduces Bridgeton star Jonathan Bailey makes a guest appearance as Jack Maddox, Charlie’s celebrity crush.

Heart Conqueror, Netflix’s adaptation of Alice Oseman’s graphic novels about two teenage boys who fall in love at school quickly became a hit when the series premiered in April 2022.

The stolen glances and secret smiles that Charlie and Nick exchanged in the first two seasons escalate into a kiss on the rugby field, as shown in the trailer for the third season, even as they still struggle to put into words their feelings for each other at their all-boys school in the United Kingdom.

Heart Conqueror Season 3 premieres on Netflix on October 3.
