Hardy County investigates allegations of sexual assault by Moorefield HS student

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. (WHSV) – There is an active investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a student at Moorefield High School in Hardy County, West Virginia.

After hearing from concerned community members, WHSV contacted the Hardy County Board of Education. Hardy County Superintendent Sheena Van Meter made the following statement:

WHSV reached out to the Hardy County Sheriff’s Office for comment but did not hear back prior to publication.
