Great Britain take on Germany in the opening match of the Billie Jean King Cup final and Davis Cup draw

Great Britain will take on Germany in the opening match of the Billie Jean King Cup final in Malaga on November 15.

The winner will then play Canada on November 17 at the Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena Arena.

Spain, Poland, Japan, Romania, Slovakia, Australia, Italy, Czech Republic and the United States are the other countries that qualified for the final.

Great Britain failed to qualify for the final last year after losing to France in the qualifying stage.

In April, Emma Raducanu held off a late push from France’s Diane Parry to secure Britain a place this year.

The Davis Cup final will also be held at the same venue. The quarter-finals will begin on 19 November.

Canada won the 2023 BJK Cup after beating Italy, which secured its first Davis Cup title in 47 years last November.
