Gray Bruce OPP charges husband in domestic violence case

Provincial police were called to an address in Georgian Bluffs, 10 minutes west of Owen Sound, for a domestic assault.

Police investigated the allegations and filed charges against the person’s partner. Police do not identify the people involved in a domestic assault to protect the victim.

A 27-year-old Georgian Bluffs individual was charged with:

• Two counts of assault causing bodily harm: choking, choking, strangling
• Mischief – domestic
• Assault with a weapon – husband
• Making threats – causing death or bodily harm – spouse.
• Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition

The suspect will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
