Gravesend: Teen who attacked Gurdwara given hospital order

A teenager who launched an attack on a gurdwara in Kent has been held in hospital.

The 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was detained by police following the disturbances at the Sri Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend on July 11.

Two women were also attacked outside the building and police found a bladed weapon.

The boy was given a hospital order at his sentencing at Westminster Magistrates Court.
