Spectators at last week’s KLM Open flocked to the Duca del Cosma store on The International Course in Amsterdam as the luxury Italian golf fashion brand saw its handcrafted new collection of golf shoes fly off the shelves.

As the official footwear supplier to one of Europe’s most historic Tour events, Duca del Cosma opened a 100m² store for the sixth time in a vibrant part of the course, allowing the 40,000 Dutch fans to try out the latest golf shoes, gloves and kilties made from premium leather, as well as walking boots from the brand new Duca Walking brand.

“Between Thursday and Sunday, hundreds of spectators bought pairs of our men’s and women’s shoes, with the DAVANTI And OLIVERA styles appear to be the most popular models,” said Duca del Cosma chairman Frank van Wezel. “It’s always great to cheer on Team Duca and we were so proud of all their achievements as we celebrated another hugely successful KLM Open here in the Netherlands,” he added.

Team Duca ambassador and local favorite Joost Luiten finished the week on six under par in T15, making him the highest ranked Dutch player in the field. Joost was seen wearing the striking outfit DAVANTI shoe in the neat Marina color throughout the week, while fellow Dutch Tour player Daan Huizing the ORLANDO pro spike design and finished T38 after a final round of 67 with a spectacular hole-in-one from the par-3 4th hole.

Duca ambassador Aydan Verdonk, a 28-year-old aspiring Dutch Tour player, was offered a place at the last minute just 15 minutes before teeing off on home soil in a combination of the DAVANTI shoe in Green/Gray on Thursday and BERNARDO pro spike style on friday.
