The young and less experienced Ghanaian team had a hard time in the final, losing in a one-sided match (21-13, 21-11) to Sierra Leone.

Despite not winning the ultimate title, the team showed a lot of promise and talent, with standout players such as Emmanuel Abbey (blocker) and Ebenezer Anyetei (defender) making notable contributions.

Other experienced players including Kelvin Carboo, Phillip Amissah and Emmanuel Adamitey also supported the team during the tournament.

Executive Board Member Mohammed Aputeog praised the team’s performance, noting: “We could have won gold if they weren’t so inexperienced. It’s their first time competing at the national level.”

Training is expected to resume after a week of rest to correct any mistakes and prepare the players for the challenge ahead.
