Get the 2TB Xbox Expansion Card for $51 off before the Prime Big Deal days end

Xbox Series X|S owners can save on both officially licensed expansion cards at Amazon during Prime Big Deal Days. The Seagate 2TB Xbox Expansion Card retails for just $199which will save you $50 off the list price of $250. Amazon has a countdown clock on this deal as it ends tonight, October 9, at 11:59 PM PT. The WD Black C50 expansion card deals – $65 for 512GB or $120 for 1TB – don’t have the countdown clock, but we don’t necessarily count on them sticking around. The Seagate 2TB drive offers the best value here, but Western Digital’s smaller capacity drives are significantly cheaper (unsurprisingly).

Seagate’s 2TB expansion card has never been available at such a low price on Amazon. In fact, this particular model launched alongside the Series The 2TB model dropped all the way down to $280 and has since seen another price cut to its current MSRP of $250.

Thanks to Amazon’s deal, you can get the 2TB card for half the price that Xbox owners paid during its first few years on the market. Seagate’s 1TB expansion card is available for $130 (down from $150), but if you’re going for a smaller capacity, you might as well go for the cheaper option.

The WD Black C50 1TB model is available at around 20% off, dropping the price from $150 to $120.64. This is pretty close to Amazon’s all-time best price for the 1TB configuration. The 512GB model, meanwhile, is available for $65.54, down from $80.

You can run out of space on your Xbox Series X|S surprisingly quickly. The Series Modern AAA games take up space quickly, and if you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, deleting games to make room for new ones could become the norm.

You can connect regular external USB hard drives to your Xbox Series X|S, but these drives can only serve as storage for Series X|S games. If you want to play those games again, you’ll need to move them back to your Xbox’s SSD.
