Gabriel Sara: Galatasaray signs Norwich City midfielder on five-year deal

Norwich City’s Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara has signed for Galatasaray for a reported £15.3million.

The 25-year-old player signs a five-year contract with the Turkish Super Lig club after two seasons at Carrow Road.

He played 96 games for the Canaries and scored 21 goals. He joined from São Paulo in the summer of 2022.

Sara won the club’s Player of the Season award during his first season at Carrow Road and was selected for last season’s Championship Team of the Season, when the Canaries finished sixth and lost to Leeds in the play-offs over two legs.
