Former Major League Soccer players and teammates Graham Zusi and Roger Espinoza will perform in clinics at the Future Legends Complex in Windsor from July 17-19.

Zusi and Espinoza, who played with Sporting KC in the MLS, were scheduled to visit the facility and coaching clinics in mid-June, but the camps were postponed.

The camps are open to athletes ages 9 to 19, born between 2006 and 2017, and of all skill levels. Clinics run from 2 to 5 p.m. all three days and cost $150.

All participants will receive a ticket to the Northern Colorado Hailstorm game against Union Omaha at 7:00 PM on July 19 at the Future Legends Complex.

Zusi and Espinoza, both 37, played 15 and 14 seasons, respectively, with Kansas City.

Espinoza, born in Honduras, moved with his family to Denver when he was a boy. He announced his retirement from professional soccer on June 26 after 16 years. He attended Denver South High School and graduated from Regis Jesuit High School.

Espinoza played with Kansas City from 2008 to 2012 and from 2015 to 2023. He helped the team to nine playoff appearances, scoring 12 goals and 45 assists in 338 games.

Espinoza also played with the Honduras national team from 2009 to 2017, including at the World Cups in Brazil in 2014 and South Africa in 2010.

Zusi is a former member of the U.S. Men’s National Team and competed in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. He scored five goals and seven assists in 55 games for the US between 2012 and 2017.

He scored 31 goals and added 74 assists in 355 career games with Kansas City, playing defense, midfield and on the wing. He was a seven-time MLS All-Star and a member of KC’s 2013 MLS Cup-winning team. As of 2023, Zusi was the longest-tenured player with a single team in MLS history.
