‘From’ renewed for season 4 by MGM+

MGM+ has renewed its hit science fiction horror series By for a 10-episode fourth season.

Created by John Griffin (Crater) and executive produced by Griffin, showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe) and director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones), the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish city that traps all who enter. By will return to production in Nova Scotia in 2025 and premiere in 2026.

Harold Perrineau (Lost) leads an ensemble cast that includes Catalina Sandino Moreno (Mary full of grace, the affair), Eion Bailey (Band of brothers), Hannah Cheramy (Under wraps, Van Helsing), Simon Webster (Gets lost), Ricky He (The good doctor), Chloe Van Landschoot (Charity, skin), Corteon Moore (Utopia Waterfalls), Pegah Ghafoori (The perfect wedding), David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), Avery Konrad (Honor Society), Scott McCord (Eastern Midwest), Nathan D.Simmons (Diggstown, this hour has 22 minutes)Kaelen Ohm (Hit & Run, Eumenides Waterfalls), Angela Moore (A series of unfortunate events, girl), A.J. Simmons (Reiker)Deborah Grover (night heat), Robert Joy (CSI: NY) and Samantha Brown (Y: The last man).

By is a bull’s eye for MGM+. The sci-fi drama is the most-watched series in the premium network’s history and has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 96 percent.

Perrineau plays Boyd Stevens, the sheriff whose draconian rules hold the fragile town together even as he searches for a way to escape this seemingly inescapable nightmare.

“With the culmination of season three, we have in many ways reached the end of the beginning. In season four, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home or deeper into this brutal nightmare,” said Griffin. “We are so grateful to our partners at MGM+ for continuing this story and are excited to share the news with our amazing VANily.”
