According to several media, French star player Guerschon Yabusele is going to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 28-year-old French forward has signed a one-year, $2.1 million minimum contract with the 76ers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Yabusele averaged 14 points per game during Team France’s incredible Olympic silver medal-winning run. He scored 20 points in the Olympic gold medal final against the United States, second only to teammate Victor Wembanyama. Team USA defeated France 98-87.

Two of Yabusele’s 20 points came on a killer dunk over LeBron James, making him one of the few players to put the NBA legend on the map.

After beginning his career with teams in France and China, Yabusele was selected 16th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft. Yabusele spent two seasons with the Celtics franchise before moving back overseas in 2019.

The 6-foot-1 forward has been playing for Real Madrid since 2021. According to The Athletic’s Sham Charania, Yabusele had to terminate his $2.5 million contract with the Spanish team before he could return to the NBA.
