Former WWE star CJ Perry (Lana) addresses relationship rumors with Damian Priest

Former WWE star CJ Perry, better known to WWE fans as Lana recently addressed rumors about herself and WWE star Damian Priest. The former WWE star responded to the rumor via her Instagram.

After WrestleMania XL, the WWE Universe was abuzz with Perry and Priest rumors. Lana and Priest appeared together in a social media post for over a year, leading to fan speculation about the two stars.

Lana and Priest were spotted at a Raw after WrestleMania post-show party. Further speculation arose when the former WWE star shared a congratulatory post when Priest won the WWE Heavyweight Title. The post included photos with Priest’s family and some of their industry friends from the huge weekend in Philadelphia.

On June 2, 2021, CJ was released by WWE, with the 5/30/2024 episode of Raw being her final appearance on the WWE Network. Priest, on the other hand, is currently scheduled for a Fatal-4-Way No. 1 Contender battle on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

Lana was married to former WWE star Rusev

Perry had been married to fellow wrestler Miroslav Barnyashev, also known as Rusev, since 2016. Rusev currently competes in AEW under the ring name ‘Miro’ after leaving the WWE. The couple announced their divorce at the end of 2023.

Since her divorce after seven years of marriage, Perry has lately been linked to Priest. However, she has denied claims that the two are not dating. She also claimed it was just a funny internet rumor.

Perry clarified, saying, “No, I’m not dating Damian Priest. (laughs) That’s a lot… that was a funny internet rumor. You know what’s always really funny to me?

“When I post a guy… it’s like (shocked face). All my guy friends were freaking out in March and April, every time I posted them on (Instagram Story) they were like (worried face), and all the DMs are like, “Is that your new boyfriend?” It’s like, guys… I’ve calmed down male friends,” the former WWE star added.

The former WWE star spent a while in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). She joined the promotion on September 3, 2023. Her last appearance was in November 2023.
