Former Baltimore Ravens star Jacoby Jones dies at age 40

A Super Bowl champion and former NFL football player who was recently hired to help build the offense of Beaumont’s new indoor football team has died at age 40.

Jacoby Jones, who played nine seasons in the NFL as a receiver and kick returner, was set to become the Beaumont Renegades’ first offensive coordinator.

The professional team was expected to play arena football starting in the spring of 2025, joining American Indoor Football.

During his active career, Jones was known for his breathtaking kick returns at key moments.
