Former Olympian Offers Kidney to Pay Electricity Bill

Zahid Sharif, a former Pakistani Olympic hockey player, has said he wants to sell his kidney to pay his electricity bill due to financial problems.

In a desperate plea for help, Sharif appealed to the president, prime minister, army chief and chief minister of Punjab, saying he was in dire financial straits and could not pay his electricity bill.

Sharif urged the government to support hockey players and cricketers financially, saying he has medals and a kidney that he is willing to sell
