Former featherweight champion picks Bobby Green to beat Paddy Pimblett in Manchester: ‘I feel like Green is going to hit him, hurt him’

Former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski gave his opinion on how he thinks Bobby Green will fare against Paddy Pimblett.

Alexander Volkanovski backs Bobby Green to inflict loss on Pimblett: ‘I think he’s the safest bet’

In a recent UFC 304 analysis on his YouTube channel, Alexander Volkanovski backed veteran lightweight fighter Bobby Green to take on Paddy Pimblett on enemy territory.

“I’m going with Bobby Green, I think he’s the safest choice here. It’s going to be a three-round fight. Paddy Pimblett, yeah, I think he’s going to be tough to take down and finish. Can he go and upset the home crowd? I don’t think Bobby Green will be bothered by that.

“Again, Bobby Green is going to put himself in positions where Paddy Pimblett feels like he can shoot and put him to sleep. I guarantee we’ll see that pretty much straight away. I think Bobby Green is going to hit him, hurt him, maybe Paddy Pimblett would go straight after that and look for the shots. Does he get them? Or does he get hurt straight away? I’m not sure.”
