Florida athletics finishes in the top 10 of the Learfield Directors’ Cup

Florida athletics once again finished with a top 10 finish in the 2023-24 Learfield Directors’ Cup standings, which measure the overall performance of an athletics department.

With eleven teams finishing in the top five in their respective sports, the Florida Gators finished fourth overall, behind only Texas (1), Stanford (2) and Tennessee (3).

A highlight for UF’s athletic achievements was its third straight national championship in men’s outdoor track and field. It marked the 15th consecutive academic season that Florida has won at least one national championship in a sport, dating back to 2008-09. In total, Florida has won 27 national championships during that span.

Of the eleven teams that finished in the top five of their respective sports in 2023-2024, nine finished in the top three. Here’s the full overview:
