Flea market, softball and even bubbles mark Riverfest in Dawson, Minnesota – West Central Tribune

DAWSON — Riverfest was celebrated once again at Gnome Park in Dawson, Minnesota, on Saturday, June 29.

The 36th annual celebration took place June 26-30 and included a craft, vendor and flea market, softball, water fights and a belly dancing competition.

There were only two participants in the belly flop contest, mainly due to the cold weather of 18 degrees.

There were also plenty of activities for children, including a plunge pool, darts and a bubble show by Steve Russell, called Bubbler.

Riverfest concluded on Sunday with a car show, parade and a golf tournament at the Dawson Golf Course.
