Five Nights At Freddy’s 4K Blu-Ray Steelbook Edition is now available for pre-order at Amazon

Five Nights at Freddy’s was one of the biggest movies of 2023 , and if you missed its initial Blu-ray release, you can score a pretty cool steelbook copy of the film over at Walmart and Amazon . It was originally listed as a Walmart-exclusive preorder back in August, but apparently that was incorrect, because now Amazon is taking preorders as well. While it’s late, this 4K edition of the film comes in a pretty cool steelbook case, perfect for any cinephiles looking to add that special edition film to their personal collection.

$29 at Walmart | $34 at Amazon (was $40)

Both retailers are offering discounts on the new steelbook edition ahead of its October 8 release. Walmart pre-orders are $29.36, while Amazon pre-orders are currently $34. These prices will likely stabilize, as Amazon typically discounts Blu-rays to bring them in line with Walmart. You won’t be billed until your pre-order ships, and you’ll get the lowest price Amazon offers from the time you order until release.

This edition of Five Nights at Freddy’s comes with 4K Blu-ray, 1080p standard Blu-ray, and digital copies of the film.

Five Nights at Freddy’s proved to be a huge hit with kids when it hit theaters last year (with a PG-13 rating). The film, an adaptation of the beloved video game and comic book franchise, centers on a security guard working nights at a run-down Chuck E Cheese clone who must survive a night of terror when ghost children possess giant robots. It’s a strange but effective horror, thanks to the talent involved in this production.

“If the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie can be just that–and it mostly is–it’s a lot of fun,” wrote Phil Owens in GameSpot’s Five Nights at Freddy’s review. “Creepy and weird animatronic nonsense is a really funny part of our culture and is an excellent idea for a movie. But it fails to just now That’s because the franchise has grown tremendously since this project began.”

After Five Nights at Freddy’s broke box office records and became Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film of all time – it grossed over $291 million worldwide – a sequel was quickly greenlit for a fall 2025 release. The new film installment follows Mega Cat Studios’ pixelated horror adventure, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit. The retro-styled side-scroller has been well-received in various ways, as it currently holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” user review average on Steam.
