Fit For An Autopsy Have a Dream About Revenge in Latest Single “Lower Purpose”

We are just two weeks out from the release of Fit For An Autopsy’s upcoming album The Nothing That Isso naturally that means we’re going to get another single to get hyped over. This time around, it’s a hyper pissed off, somewhat politically charged single “Lower Purpose.”

And when I say “politically charged,” I don’t mean the band’s taking a stand in favor or against one of the presidential candidates or something. It’s more about how our leaders don’t give a fuck about your or the rest of us common folk. Don’t believe me? Here’s a statement from the band outlining exactly what “Lower Purpose” was about.

“You work, you pay taxes, and you expect the people in positions of power and government to serve your needs and the needs of other citizens, when in reality they serve their own agendas. Greed, war, corruption, it’s almost impossible to free yourself from this cycle. You inevitably serve a lower purpose.”

This new single follows the drop of previous singles “Savior of None / Ashes of All” and “Hostage”, both of which are equally killer ass-beaters.

The Nothing That Is will be released on October 25 via Nuclear Blast, but you can preorder or pre-save your copy right now.

If you would like to catch Fit For An Autopsy live, they’re heading out on tour next Friday in Worcester, Massachusetts with support by Bodysnatcher, Distant, Sylosis, and Judiciary. You can find the full list of dates below.
