Finalists of the twins Mr. Baseball and Ms. Softball announced

14 FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR

2024 Mr. BASEBALL AND MS. SOFTBALL PRIZES,

PRESENTED BY THE MINNESOTA TWINS COMMUNITY FUND

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins Community Fund and the Minnesota All Sports Alliance are proud to announce the 14 finalists for the Mr. Baseball and Ms. 2024 Softball Awards presented by the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. The finalists for the awards, which represent the best senior players in the state, were selected by a panel of high school and college coaches. Athletic and character traits, as well as seasonal performance, were taken into account.

The award winners will be announced on Sunday, June 23 during a ceremony at Target Field beginning at noon. The winners will also be honored by the Twins with the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before a future home game in 2024. The June 23 ceremony will also recognize Coach Dennis Flom from Cannon Falls High School and coach Joe Madson from Mankato East High School for their lifetime achievements in coaching.

The seven Mr. 2024 Baseball finalists are: Max Arlich (East Ridge High School), Tyler Guerin (Mounds View High School), P.J. Jones (Cretin Derham Hall secondary school), Caleb Koskie (Benilde St. Margaret’s), Riley Leatherman (Wayzata High School), Wilson Magers (Mankato West High School) and Luke Skinner (East Ridge High School).

The seven finalists for 2024 Ms. Softball are: Heidi Kapper (White Bear Lake Area High School), Cameron Chard (Belle Plaine High School), Cecilia Hanson (Rosemount High School), Carly Kimmes (Randolph High School), Katie Klotz (Farmington High School), Jordyn Marsh (New Prague High School) and Hanna Tong (Forest Lake Area High School).

About the Minnesota All Sports Alliance

Since 1954, the Minnesota All Sports Alliance has been involved in the Minnesota sports community. The group is known for leading the sale of more than $1.2 million dollars in A2 bonds that led to the construction of Metropolitan Stadium. They continue to raise awareness and resources for amateur athletes.
