Fatal crash in Somerset blocks the roadway on US Hwy 27 near Norwood Road

SOMERSET, Ky. (LEX 18) – Crews responded Wednesday morning to the scene of a reported fatal crash that blocked all northbound lanes on US Highway 27 near Norwood Road in Somerset.

The Somerset Fire Department says the roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.

The department has asked drivers to find an alternate route and LEX 18 will have additional information as it becomes available.
