Farmington High School Names Top 10 Students in Class of 2024

FARMINGTON — Farmington High School recognizes and congratulates the top 10 students of the class of 2024.

Below you will find the graduates in alphabetical order, with information from the school.

Abigail Beard

Abigail, who graduated at the top of her class, considers it a great honor and her most significant accomplishment to date. She expresses gratitude for the support of the faculty and family members who helped her on this journey. Abigail is now preparing to pursue an associate degree in radiology at Southern Maine Community College, with plans to continue her education by earning a certificate in ultrasound.

Montana Betts-Levine

Montana will be attending Maine Maritime Academy this fall to study marine biology. Her goal is to become a zoologist specializing in the study of penguins.

Abigail Brandt

Abby plans to attend UNH Manchester to get a degree in biology so she can become a veterinarian. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and reading. She has a first-degree black belt in martial arts and is working on her instructor certification. She was a Girl Scout and received her silver award.

Max Daughter

Max is absolutely honored to be in the top 10 of his class. Max is so excited to be taking this next big step in life and being recognized for his academic achievements! Max will be attending Great Bay Community College in the fall and will begin his path to becoming a clinical psychologist. Max is also so excited to see what the future holds. Max would like to thank his family for always being so supportive and encouraging.

Brendan Labrecque

Brendan’s post-grad plans are to attend the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and get a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. His life goal is to work in the renewable and clean energy sector to reduce the amount of carbon emissions (fossil fuel based energy) that negatively impact the climate. Depending on where he ends up in clean energy, he could get a master’s degree in nuclear engineering.

Emma Moné

Emma plans to attend the University of New Hampshire. Her goal is to study entomology.

Callie Rocheleau

Callie is the daughter of Kelly and Thomas Rocheleau and has two older siblings, Nicole and Cody, along with her nieces and nephews, Carter, Levi, Elliot, Indie, and Bodhi. Callie will be attending Rivier University in the fall to study nursing with the goal of becoming a registered nurse.

Callie served as class vice president for three years and was president her senior year. She was a four-year basketball player and three-year volleyball player and was named an NHIAA/NHADA Scholar Athlete in April of her senior year. She coached the Farmington 500 girls volleyball and basketball teams and dedicated her Saturdays to coaching a variety of age groups. She received her Certified Nursing Assistant role in 2022 and has been working as an LNA at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for almost two years. She has done a lot of internship and volunteer work, some at Frisbie Memorial Hospital and some locally, including Farmington 500 and Valley View Community School events. Callie also spent her junior and senior years as an early student at Great Bay Community College, where she completed several courses. Callie is also one of four recipients of Fedpoint’s 2024 Nursing Scholarship.

Callie would like to thank her family, friends and teachers for all the time and effort they put into her success, and for their continued support and encouragement, which were crucial to this important milestone.

Samantha Sambuaga

Samantha’s plans after graduation are to attend the University of New Hampshire, but she hasn’t decided yet. She has a variety of interests that make it hard to choose just one. She hopes her experience there will help her figure out what’s right for her and help her grow as a person overall.

Damian Schwab

Damian Schwab is the son of Paige and John Schwab. He graduated 5th from Farmington High School. He was a member of the National Honor Society his senior year and ETS since high school. He completed a two-year program in computer networking through Lakes Region Technology Center in Wolfeboro. He plans to take a gap year from school and work full time. He is a music enthusiast, plays the trombone, is teaching himself to play bass guitar, and is currently playing drums. He plans to pursue a college degree in sound design/engineering in the future. He would like to give a special thanks to his parents, grandparents, family, and friends for their continued love and support.

Anna Scruton

Anna’s future plans include studying criminal justice at Great Bay Community College so she can pursue a career in law enforcement. She is grateful for all the experiences Farmington High School has provided and is excited for what the future holds.
