An expectant father has been named as shot dead in a ‘senseless’ attack in a residential area in Sydenham, south London.

Curtis Green, 30, was killed Sunday after the shooting on Wells Park Road.

He was described by his family as “happy, excited and beautiful.”

They said: ‘He was an entrepreneur and owned a clothing brand and a local fitness company. He was also an expectant father, with a child due in five months.”

Two others were also injured in the attack, including a woman who was shot in the legs.

Both conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

Detective Chief Inspector Samantha Townsend said: “Following our appeal on Sunday, I would like to reiterate the importance of coming forward if you have any information about what happened on Sunday morning.

“Three people were shot and unfortunately one was killed. We have worked tirelessly to determine the circumstances and these investigations remain ongoing.”

No arrests have been made.

“There is no place for this senseless violence and I hope the perpetrator is brought to justice soon. My thoughts are with all those affected.’

Commander Peter Stevens said: ‘I know people will be shocked by this senseless act of violence, especially on a Sunday morning in a residential area.
