Eston murder investigation: Woman held on suspicion of assisting perpetrator

A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was stabbed in the street.

Cleveland Police launched a murder investigation on Thursday evening after a 34-year-old man was attacked outside a house on Lealholm Walk in Eston, near Middlesbrough.

A 33-year-old woman from Middlesbrough is being held on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in custody.

Detectives are calling on anyone with information about the stabbing to come forward.
