Enfield K-9 tracks down suspect who fled into woods after crash on I-91

ENFIELD, Conn. (WGGB/WSHM) – A K-9 helps make an arrest on I-91 in Enfield on Sunday.

According to the Enfield Police Department, on Oct. 20, after a reported crash on northbound I-91, responding officers were told that a man had fled into the woods. They had to call for help to help find the suspect.

That’s where Duke came in and went to work. He followed the suspect all the way to a creek bed, about 400 feet into the woods, where he tried to hide.

The person was found with narcotics and is now in police custody, all thanks to Duke.
