Emma Hubbs Tennis Classic: The 34th annual local tennis tournament in Dixon had its final day of divisional play on Thursday, with Joel Rhodes taking first place in the boys 18-and-under singles event with a 32-game win. Kaiser Khawaja (25 games won) was second and Aron Rivera (23) was third, followed by Eric States (19), Jereston Falls (11) and Brooks Knudson (10).

In the under-18 girls’ doubles event, Brooklyn Arjes and Rachel Lance won a super tiebreaker 10-7 after beating Grace Ferguson and Addison Arjes in their 12-game winning streak.

In the under-18 boys’ doubles, Joel Rhodes and Aron Rivera won 18 games, beating Eric States and Ben Robinson 17 games.

In the boys’ under 15 singles, Carter French finished first with 15 matches won, followed by William Wright (six matches) and Taizen Falls (three matches).

In the girls’ singles under 13 years, Jenna Mustapha finished first with 15 games won, followed by Parker Brigl (11 games), Ella Dobie (6) and Natalie Welty (4).

James Catt took first place in the Four Square division.
