Edu makes another masterstroke for Arsenal transfer after impressive details about Sterling emerge

Arsenal have shown once again that they are a force to be reckoned with.

The Gunners’ performances in the transfer window have been as impressive as their performances on the pitch.

Director Edu, who is responsible for recruiting members, has had a relatively busy summer.

Although Arsenal have signed only three players, they have sold 11, including Fabio Vieira, who has been loaned to Porto for a whole season. The loan includes a clause that allows Arsenal to punish the Portuguese club if the midfielder does not play a certain number of games.

And that’s not the only impressive clause Edu successfully negotiated this summer.

How much are Arsenal paying for Raheem Sterling?

According to a recent report from Football Insider, Arsenal, who signed Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea in the final hours of the transfer window, have managed to land the winger for a bargain price.

Chelsea star Raheem Sterling could be a great addition to Arsenal.

The 29-year-old’s deal at Stamford Bridge will earn him a whopping £350,000-a-week. Arsenal, however, are not paying that much. In fact, the Gunners have managed to convince their rivals to pay them less than half the Englishman’s salary.

The new Arsenal loanee is yet to make his debut for the Gunners but was present for his club’s 1-1 draw with Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Sterling’s loan agreement does not contain a purchase option.
