Early Bets for the UFC 304 Fight Card

The next UFC pay-per-view card is on July 27, when UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards takes on Belal Muhammad. That card, UFC 304, takes place at Co-op Live in Manchester, England. The evening’s co-main event features interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall against Curtis Blaydes.

Edwards and Muhammad first met in March 2021 in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. That bout ended 18 seconds into the second round when an accidental eye poke left Muhammad unable to continue.

Since that match, both men are undefeated, with Edwards going 4-0. Edwards claimed the UFC welterweight title in August 2022 with a last-minute knockout of Kamaru Usman. He defeated Usman in a rematch by majority decision in March 2023, and made a second title defense when he defeated Colby Covington by unanimous decision in December.

Muhammad is 5-0 since first facing Edwards. He has decision wins over Demian Maia, Stephen Thompson and Vicente Luque, and has knocked out Sean Brady. Muhammad’s most recent win was a decision victory in May 2023 over former welterweight title contender Gilbert Burns. Muhammad is the No. 2 fighter in the official UFC welterweight rankings.

Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes have also met before. The two faced off in the main event of a 2022 Fight Night card at the 02 Arena in London, England. Unfortunately, that fight ended 15 seconds after it started, with Aspinall suffering a TKO loss due to a leg injury.

Since then, Aspinall is 2-0 with two first-round knockout wins. In November, he stopped Sergei Pavlovich in 69 seconds to claim the interim UFC heavyweight title.

Blaydes, the UFC’s No. 4 heavyweight, is 1-1 since first facing Aspinall, punching his ticket to the interim title fight with a second-round knockout victory over Jailton Almeida in March.
