Drake Embraces Kendrick Lamar’s ’69 God’ Nickname During Bowling Outing

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s viral lyrical battle continues to be a hot topic of debate, and lately it seems like Drizzy has chosen to make the best of what is undoubtedly a difficult situation. After the two of them went back and forth with some scathing disses, the general consensus was that Kendrick came out on top. This is partly due to his explosive song ‘Not Like Us’. In it, he accuses Drake and other members of his OVO crew of being “certified pedophiles” and more.

In the song, Kendrick also repeatedly calls Drake a “69 god.” It doesn’t seem like he was all that offended by it. Over the weekend, the hitmaker was spotted bowling with some friends, and he used the moniker as his player name. It’s unclear what exactly Kendrick meant with the lyrics, though social media users have plenty of theories.

Drake Jokes About Kendrick Lamar Feud With ‘Not Like Us’ Reference

Last week, for example, Keke Palmer jumped online to wonder what the nickname is supposed to suggest. She argued that if it was a reference to the rapper’s bedroom habits, it should actually be taken as a compliment. Her comments sparked a debate among fans, with many agreeing with her or sharing their own interpretation of the phrase. Some also believe it could be a reference to fellow artist 6ix9ine, who has faced his fair share of sexual predator accusations in the past.

Either way, it’s clear that Drake isn’t fazed by the dark nickname, and has even gone so far as to embrace it. What do you think of Drake seemingly making light of Kendrick Lamar’s “69 god” jab during a recent bowling excursion? Are you surprised or not? What do you think Kendrick meant by the nickname?
