Dragon Age: The Veilguard will have a photo mode at launch, so you can finally get a close-up of the blemish

It’s been ten long years since Dragon Age: Inquisition came out, which means that the next game in the series – Dragon Age: The Veilguard – likely has some modern design trends to catch up on. Here’s one: The Veilguard will be the first game in the series to feature a photo mode when it launches this October.

IGN has released the first details about the photo mode, including some new screenshots.

The photo mode appears to have a large but typical suite of camera features, including: a free-moving camera, focal length, depth of field, autofocus, F-stop, saturation, brightness and contrast controls, and the ability to hide the player, party members, enemies or NPCs.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released on October 31st.

There seems to be some optimism surrounding The Veilguard as I see more and more fans of the series getting excited based on the trailers and streams that BioWare has released so far. Edwin saw the game over the summer and was intrigued by the characters and action, even if it isn’t the full party-based RPG that some of the previous games offered.

I’ve never played Dragon Age before, but I’ve spent hours experimenting with photo modes, trying to bring out my inner Dead End Thrills.
