DraftKings Guards – NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Reed Sheppard, Singapore – Owned Home ($9.2K)

Reed Sheppard comes into Sunday with a very high price tag, and one that may scare some people away. However, Sheppard has the skills and potential to pay for that price tag. He is averaging 20 points, 5.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds while collecting two steals per game in four games. The Houston guard is also a solid defensive prospect, having recorded 11 steals and five blocks. While his price tag may scare some people away, his ownership could be low enough to make it worth it to throw him into multiple lineups.

Jacob Gilyard, PG – BKN ($5.4K)

Jacob Gilyard has played quite well in Summer League, aside from a game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Gilyard can provide some salary relief, but he can also help round out your lineups with some decent scoring. In two of his three games, he has recorded 29.3 and 32 DK points while taking minimal shots. He has taken eight field goal attempts this summer, and in that same game, he went 4 of 8 from the three-point line. Averaging 26.2 DK points per game, Gilyard is worth playing.

Isaiah Collier, PG – UTA ($6.8K)

Isaiah Collier has continued to show his talent this summer, and it has had its ups and downs. Collier is averaging 11.8 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds with 2.5 steals per game entering Game 4. He has struggled a bit with keeping the basketball, as he has committed 17 turnovers. If he can continue his play from last game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Collier offers solid upside with a price tag right in the middle.

Also consider: Danish Jenkins($4.9K), AJ Griffin ($6.5K), Javon Freeman-Liberty ($5.7K)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers – NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Wilson, SF – BKN ($8.6K)

Jalen Wilson is coming off a strong outing against the Orlando Magic, where he scored 50.5 DK points. He had a double-double night with 33 points and 10 rebounds, while adding one assist. Wilson is averaging 23.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and one assist in four Summer League games. His price tag may be too high, as he is averaging just 33.7 DK points per game. This could make him another low-owned play that we’d like to be exposed to.

Taylor Hendricks, PF – UTA ($7.8K)

The Utah Jazz have a small stack that I want to target and Taylor Hendricks will be one of those players. Hendricks has had an inconsistent Summer League, but he can easily pay off his tag. He has had two games that showed positive signs for the forward, 29.5 DK points against Dallas and 38.3 DK points against Toronto. He has also contributed defensively, as he has eight total blocks and two steals in the four games.

Kyle Filipowski, C – UTA ($6.4K)

The center position tonight isn’t the most attractive, but Kyle Filipowski stands out. He’ll be facing the Dallas Mavericks for the second time. In the first meeting, he averaged 22.5 DK points in 20 minutes, with 10 points, six rebounds and two assists with one block and no turnovers. The Utah big man averages 27.3 DK points per game, with an average of 14 points, 5.8 rebounds and two assists. He’s a good value and could help pay for Reed Sheppard.

Also consider: Branden Carlson ($5.2K), James Banks III ($4.4K), Tolu Smith ($5.8K)
