Down And Out: Former World Champion Out For The Rest Of The Year Due To Injury

IMG credit: All Elite Wrestling

That’s a long time. There are all sorts of injuries in wrestling and unfortunately some of them can sideline a person for a very long time. These injuries can often catch you off guard because you may not even realize they’ve happened when you see them. Unfortunately, that seems to be happening again as a popular star will be out of action for a while.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Au: AEW Collision Match stopped due to injury

AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Dalton Castle has suffered an injury and will be out for the rest of the year. Castle was injured during his match against Roderick Strong last weekend at Collision, when he was knocked out by a jumping knee to the face. The match had to be modified significantly as a result. It is unclear what kind of injury Castle sustained.

He’s seen better days. Check out Castle’s time in AEW:

Opinion: That’s awful to hear and hopefully Castle gets back in the ring as soon as possible. I don’t know what happened to him with a knee to the head but if it’s enough to keep him out for that long then something really bad happened. Castle is one of the most uniquely charismatic stars in wrestling and it would be great to see him back in the ring in some form.

What do you think of Castle? What would you like to see him do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
