Valve recently ditched the traditional battle pass system introduced annually around The International to focus more on Dota2 gameplay updates. The Crownfall event kicked off in April and was set to feature multiple acts over several months. Now, shortly before the grand finale of The International, the developer has confirmed that Kez, the game’s next hero, will be released with Dota2‘s Crownfall Act Four, with many wondering when the final act will be unlocked.

When is Dota 2 Crownfall Act 4 coming out?

Crownfall Act four would come into effect in Dota2 after The International ended on September 15. Valve has not announced an exact launch date yet; however, we can expect the update will be released sometime before Sunday September 22nd. If history is to be believed, we believe the update will go live when no one really expects it, which has become a tradition at Valve.

The Spires of Skywrath (Act Four) was previously scheduled to wrap up in August. Many players are also expecting significant delays for the next Dota2 update, as the Ringmaster’s arrival has already been delayed several times this year by several months.

What’s in the Dota 2 Crownfall Act 4 update?

The next Dota2 The highlight of the update will undoubtedly be Kezthe flying samurai. Aside from his initial reveal, not much is known about the new character, so we can’t really speculate whether he’ll be a carry, support, or initiator. Kez will join the roster of 125 heroes after the addition of Ringmaster, just a week before the opening of TI13.

Crownfall Act four will also bring a new questline to the map, along with unique minigames. With new quests also come new unlockable rewards such as Crownfall Treasures, sprays, and emoticons.
