There are rumors that Pushpa 2 will get paid previews a day before its full release. Interestingly, the makers confirmed this today. However, they have also made it clear that these are not paid previews, but rather their magnum opus which will see a full-fledged release nationwide on December 5. Keep reading to find out how this decision benefits this major over Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava!

For those unaware, the Pushpa sequel was officially announced for release on December 6, 2024. Another film in the form of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava was announced for the same date. Although Chhaava is not as big as the Pushpa sequel, it has the potential to dent Allu Arjun’s film because of Maddock’s goodwill and the concept based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is already an intriguing subject and as we all know, the teaser of Chhaava has already created ripples thanks to Vicky Kaushal’s amazing transformation. If the film doesn’t hit the screens across the country, it has the potential to surprise everyone in select regions like Maharashtra, which is also crucial for Pushpa 2 as its predecessor did very well in the state.

With Pushpa 2 being prepared for December 5, it has an advantage in terms of screen count in the Hindi market. So on December 5, the film will witness the widest possible release and if word of mouth proves to be good, exhibitors will continue the film with maximum shows despite the release of Chhaava.

Meanwhile, in other news, there are rumors about Chhaava’s postponement. While there is no official confirmation from the makers, it is said that considering the craze of Pushpa 2, the Vicky Kaushal starrer might be pushed forward the same month or next year.

It’s a no-brainer that be it in the South or the North, the Allu Arjun starrer will enjoy the maximum presentation for its hype, and avoiding a clash with such a biggie seems like a wise decision .
