Nate Diaz reportedly earned $500,000 and Jorge Masvidal $300,000 from their boxing match (according to USA Today). Diaz won the match via a controversial majority decision at the Anaheim Center in California.

It was a battle between two UFC fighters, with both putting on an entertaining show. Diaz tried to overwhelm Masvidal with his volume, while ‘Gamebred’ arguably showed better technique and landed the cleaner punches.

Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal: Full Ticket Fairs

Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal had a brawl at a press conference leading up to their fight. However, when it came time to put on a show in the squared circle, they delivered, showing the spirit of their fighters.

Devin Cushing defeated Manny Correa via unanimous decision on the same card. The former pocketed an estimated USD 60K and the latter USD 15K.

Armando Vargas reportedly earned $100,000 for his TKO victory over Ryan Garcia’s brother Sean Garcia, who took home $50,000.

Curmel Morton earned $40,000 for his second-round knockout victory over Nicolai Buzolin, who took home $8,000.

Chris Avila was paid $210,000 for his win over Anthony Pettis, while the former UFC lightweight champion earned $350,000.

Shane Mosley Jr. took home USD 160,000 when he defeated Daniel Jacobs via UD. Jacobs earned USD 100,000, according to the aforementioned portal.

The main event fighters were the biggest draw of the show and both Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal showed why they are so popular with the fans.

It should be noted that the released purses and salaries are official figures from the California State Athletic Commission. Whether the headliners would receive PPV points or bonuses is still unknown.

Conor McGregor Makes a Fortune in Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal

Conor McGregor made a big buck betting on the boxing match between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. McGregor placed a $500K bet on former opponent Diaz.

With Diaz’s cash out, McGregor reportedly kept $1.625 million, three times what Diaz officially earned.

As for Nate Diaz, he has challenged Len Edwards and Jake Paul for his next fight. His series with Jorge Masvidal now stands at 1-1, as ‘Gamebred’ earned a TKO victory when they fought at UFC 244 in 2019.
