Details of Diddy’s alleged attack on UCLA Coach are resurfacing

Skeletons from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ closet come back to haunt him on his pending federal sex crime case. The latest scandal stems from newly discovered details of a nearly decade-old incident that resulted in his arrest.

If federal prosecutors want to prove that Combs is a cruel, controlling person, Could they perhaps bring up the June 2015 scuffle between Combs and a UCLA coach? Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office documents obtained by The Los Angeles Times reveal that the incident took place at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex. Combs reportedly fell out with coach Sal Alosi after taking his son Justin off the football field all summer.

Charging documents say that after Combs and Alosi exchanged words in the coach’s office, Combs approached him and physically assaulted him, per The times. The alleged assault left the coach with several minor scratches and a tear in his shirt. However, Combs’ tantrum allegedly turned towards an intern who had scratches on his neck. The charging documents allege that Combs grabbed a kettlebell and swung it at the staff members, per The times.

After the debacle, Combs was arrested by campus police and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of uttering threats and one count of battery. The district attorney’s office declined to prosecute him because no one was injured, the report said. However, Combs later said in a statement that he would no longer be allowed to attend his son’s football games.

Only now were the details of this event revealed. Although he escaped charges, the descriptions of his alleged violence won’t help his ongoing federal case as prosecutors try to prove he abused his celebrity status preying on individuals through violence and intimidation.

Diddy’s federal sex crime case

On Monday September 16th the 54-year-old rap mogul was arrested in Manhattan by federal authorities six months after they raided his two homes in Los Angeles and Miami. His indictment was revealed the next morning, charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and engaging in interstate transportation for the purpose of prostitution were revealed. The allegations against Combs include sexual abuse, physical abuse, bribery and various drug offenses.

The most striking claims come from him so-called ‘freak off’ sex partieswhere prosecutors allege women and men were drugged and forced to perform sex acts at Combs’ pleasure. He was also accused of using video footage to blackmail the victims into compliance.

In addition to the charges, Combs has been sued more than a dozen times by plaintiffs – including Bad Boy signee Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura – who came forward with claims of rape, sexual exploitation and assault against the rapper. Although many of the lawsuits were civil, Combs is facing criminal charges in this federal case.

He has pleaded not guilty and was denied bail. His trial is scheduled for May 2025.
