Terry Bradshaw sings

Former Steelers Super Bowl MVP Terry Bradshaw may not be throwing footballs anymore, but he’s still entertaining. “The Terry Bradshaw Show” now travels to multiple cities, showcasing an act where Bradshaw sings and tells stories to audiences.

In a video by Chris Demirdijan of KSLA News 12 Twitter has been filled with clips of Bradshaw performing for the first time in front of his hometown crowd. Bradshaw appeared at the Margaritaville Casino and Resort in Bossier City and expressed his nervousness about bringing his show to his hometown, proving that even Super Bowl champions can still get nervous.

“It’s nerve-wracking,” Bradshaw said. “Normally you stay away from home a little bit. I don’t know why. I don’t want to let them down. I’m doing something I don’t normally do, which is singing and telling stories.”

SOFTBALL FROM DRIE RIVERS CELEBRITY

The fourth annual Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game was yesterday, an event that benefits Cam Heyward’s foundation, The Heyward House. The game is played at the stadium of the Washington Wild Things, a baseball team in the Frontier League, and the participants usually include some familiar names from Pittsburgh.

Several Steelers participated in the event this year, with a tweet from radio station 93.7 The Fan Players like Pat Freiermuth and Roman Wilson in action. Wilson appears to be a better hitter than most of the Pittsburgh Pirates right now, and Freiermuth may have to try his hand at first base if the Steelers’ offense doesn’t use him well this year.

DEMARVIN LEAL SOCCER CAMP

This is the time during the NFL offseason when players finally have some free time. While some are still working together to get better, others are doing their best to give back to their communities. Steelers defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal is doing just that, helping to organize a youth football camp at Judson High School, his alma mater.

Along with several other NFL players from Judson, Leal is working to give kids the opportunities he never had. A video posted by KSAT News shows Leal and other former Judson players helping the kids with drills, giving them the chance to learn from the best. Instead of taking this time for himself, Leal is giving back to the world, showing his good character.
