Delta to launch new route at Memphis airport. Here’s where it will go

Memphis is getting a new nonstop Texas flight beginning in 2025.

On Saturday, Memphis International Airport (MEM) announced Delta Air Lines is launching a daily nonstop flight between MEM and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The flight will begin operations May 7.

“We appreciate Delta expanding its service here at MEM and know that passengers will be excited to have nonstop connectivity to Austin,” said Michael Keeney, chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, in a news release.

People walk through Concourse B at Memphis International Airport on Monday, Aug. 5, 2024.

Delta will use a 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft for the route. Tickets are on sale at www.delta.com.

The Austin flight brings Delta’s number of destinations at MEM to eight, joining Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York (LGA) and Salt Lake City, according to the news release.
