Trade talks involving Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams are expected to “intensify” next week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Schefter noted that trade talks so far are “not as far along as some say,” but Adams’ hamstring injury is also partially responsible for the lack of traction in the negotiations.

Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported Tuesday that the 31-year-old informed the Raiders that he preferred to be traded. He was later ruled out of Las Vegas’ Week 5 game with the Denver Broncos due to the injury.
