Last night UFC 304 took place in Manchester, England. It was a fascinating event full of twists and turns, especially in the two title fights. Dana White made the decision, under pressure from King Green, to increase the performance bonus from $50,000 to $100,000. While some fights lived up to expectations, others did not.

Fighter pay has been an issue for some time now. It’s well documented that many fans and critics don’t believe White pays his athletes a fair amount, and with the current legal issues surrounding the UFC, that will only come under increased scrutiny.

Following the show, White declared that he does not want to fall into the trap of increasing bonuses again.
