Dana White shared his thoughts on Michael Jordan’s mindset.

Dana White didn’t hesitate for a moment when asked if Michael Jordan would make it as a UFC fighter.

Jordan enjoyed a legendary basketball career in the NBA, winning six championships with the Chicago Bulls.

He is widely regarded as the greatest player in basketball history, due to his incredible performances on the court.

He even tried his hand at baseball, playing Minor League Baseball for the Chicago White Sox, but returned to the Bulls in March 1995, leading them to three more NBA championships.

But how would Jordan have done as an MMA fighter in the UFC?

White believes ‘MJ’ could have made it as a fighter, as he praises his ‘killer’ mentality.

During an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, he was asked which basketball players could have made it as a UFC fighter.

“You’ve got to go with Jordan,” White replied. “Jordan’s a killer. I’ve talked about Michael Jordan a lot.

“Never met him, don’t know him, don’t want to meet him. I like him too much.

“I respect him too much. I like his killer instinct. I don’t want to meet him. Respect him to death.”

The UFC boss was so fond of Jordan that he watched his Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’ three times.

“I love Michael Jordan, I love the killer that he was, you know, everything about him,” he added. “I’ve watched ‘The Last Dance’ three times.”

At the peak of his powers, Jordan reportedly weighed 216 pounds, which would have placed him in the heavyweight class if he had fought in the UFC.

At 6-foot-1, the NBA icon could have been a major threat in the famed Octagon if he had been coached properly.
