The European Commission has charged Spain, Cyprus, Poland and Portugal with failing to implement rules aimed at guaranteeing a global minimum level of taxation for multinational companies, the commission said on Thursday.

All EU member states were required to enforce the necessary laws by the end of 2023, the Commission said, adding that the countries it now sued had not informed it of such a move. (Reuters)
