Colorado State quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi voiced some serious criticism ahead of the Rams’ game against Colorado on Saturday.

“They came out with that attitude and thought it was going to be a piece of cake,” he said of the Buffaloes’ 43-35 double-overtime win over CBS Colorado’s Romi Bean in 2023 (via David Ubben of The Athletic ). “They got a rude awakening really quickly. I think it shows that the hype, the media frenzy, all that can only take you so far. At the end of the day, you’ve got to put 11 guys up against our 11 guys and we’ll see who wants it more. We’ll see how far Instagram followers take them.”
