Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates reaching ONE BILLION followers across all social media platforms as he tells fans: ‘We will continue to make history together’

Cristiano Ronaldo has a billion followers across all social media platforms.

The Portuguese star has over 100 million followers on X and over 600 million followers on Instagram. He also recently launched his own YouTube channel, which has already amassed 60 million subscribers. Ronaldo has over 170 million followers on Facebook and is also extremely popular on Chinese social media platforms.

Ronaldo thanked his fans around the world and reflected on his journey from a young boy in Madeira to one of the greatest players of all time.

In a post on X, Ronaldo wrote: “We’ve made history — 1 BILLION followers! This is more than just a number – it’s a testament to our shared passion, drive, love for the game and more.

‘From the streets of Madeira to the biggest stages in the world, I have always played for my family and for you, and now 1 billion of us stand together. You have been with me every step of the way, through all the highs and the lows.

Ronaldo’s post included an image detailing many of the key moments of his career, with the caption, “A billion dreams, one journey.”

The 39-year-old currently plays for Al-Nassr, for whom he has scored 62 goals in 68 games

Ronaldo also recently reached another milestone when he scored his 900th career goal during the Portugal v Croatia match in the UEFA Nations League.

During his illustrious career, Ronaldo played for Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid, Juventus and his current club Al-Nassr, as well as two spells at Manchester United. This week, Ronaldo has again criticised United manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo has won the Ballon d’Or five times and has won 33 trophies in his career.
