As Ronaldo approaches his 40th birthday in February, he has not been at his best at his current Saudi club, Al-Nassr.

Earlier reports from Mail Sport suggested that the Portuguese has been hurt by poor results and a lack of trophies, leading to visible frustration among his team-mates. Ronaldo refused to collect the Saudi Super Cup silver medal after his team’s 4-1 defeat to Al-Hilal on Saturday.

But with a lucrative £175million-a-year deal signed in January 2023, the striker appears to be enjoying his time away from football in Riyadh and showing fans his passion for the world’s most popular sport.

One of the most popular videos on his channel shows his passion for some of the most popular topics among fans: Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic, boxing or UFC and NBA or NFL.

He has already unveiled his golden YouTube button, which is awarded to projects that reach one million subscribers and is made of gold-plated brass.

His platform features an elegant logo design, accompanied by an attractive caption: ‘Welcome to UR Cristiano – the official YouTube channel of Cristiano Ronaldo. SIUUUbscribe!’

‘I look forward to having conversations with guests that will surprise people!’
