Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville awards 7 scholarships

The Cress Creek Garden Club of Naperville held their annual scholarship luncheon on Friday, June 14.

The club awarded $20,000 to seven recipients.

Scholarships were awarded to students attending a college or university in 2024-25 and majoring in horticultural or environmental fields that parallel the club’s mission.

Congratulations to Jenna Duncan, Frankie Garcia, Nainika Gupta, Judy Johns Schloegel, Madeleine Walbridge, Emily Lubek, and Shinmayi Subramanian.

The club’s 49th annual fundraiser will be held from 9:30 am to 2 pm on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Drive in Bolingbrook. Visit www.cresscreekgardenclub.org for tickets and information.
