Cozy anime game Infinity Nikki is getting a closed beta soon

Infinity Nikki, the latest game in the Nikki series, was revealed earlier this year. Now, players will get the chance to try it out for themselves soon, and ahead of its official launch. As revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live, the closed beta for Infinity Nikki is now accepting applications, with iOS and Android players able to pre-register for the game.

Infinity Nikki is also coming to PS5 and PC. In this latest Nikki game, players can explore the setting of Miraland with their cat, Momo.

The game is billed as a cozy open-world RPG and will feature gameplay elements such as platforming, puzzle solving, photo collection, and dress-up mini-games where clothing options grant you different abilities. It also comes from former The Legend of Zelda director Kentaro Tominaga.

There have been a few Nikki games before this one, such as Love Nikki and Shining Nikki, but this game recently received a lot of attention during Sony’s State of Play earlier this year. It marks the series’ debut on a console, which seems to have caught the attention of players who were previously unfamiliar with it.
